We are delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Site Engineer for a large station upgrade in central London on a freelance basis. |
You would be working for an international company who are involved in a host of engineering and construction sectors including rail, power, water, building and natural resources. The contract will see you working with the site team on the night shift on the section of works which is all self delivery reinforce concrete and civils.
The role would be working nights Monday to Friday plus every other weekend and the contractor is looking for a Senior Site Engineer who has previous Fit Out and Civils experience and the daily rate reflects the experience which they are looking for.
As the Senior Site Engineer on this contract, your key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting the Section Manager on nights within the reinforced concrete and civil sections of work
* Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
* Helping manage and supervise the civils subcontractors
* Carrying out quality inspections as required
* Producing ITPs and as builds
* Planning weekly and monthly programs for the civils team
For a Senior Site Engineer looking for a contract role working nights on a large civils project in London, this role is ideally suited for you. You will also benefit from working for one of the UK's best contractors and gain valuable experience.
If you are interested in the position, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
* A completed construction or civil engineering related Degree or HNC
* Hold a valid CSCS
* Have previously worked as a Site, Section or Senior Site Engineer
* Have prior Fit Out and civils experience
* Have a sound knowledge of reinforced concrete
This is a great contract for a Senior Site Engineer to add to their portfolio of work and the successful candidate will also enjoy the support of CarmichaelUK who can help with CSCS, PTS and Lucas tests whilst also paying our temporary workers on a weekly payroll.
