An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Fire Service Engineer to join our client, a provider of innovative personal alarms.

As the Fire Service Engineer, you will be tasked with responding to service and maintenance calls for our client's equipment at sites throughout Cheltenham and the surrounding area.
Specifically, you'll conduct planned maintenance checks and repair faults on fire alarm and allied systems, carry out technical surveys and liaise directly with clients on specific problems.
As the technical support expert in your territory, you'll complete small works as directed and ensure that all reported faults are dealt with within the stipulated timeframe.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Product knowledge of fire, social alarm, low voltage security systems
- A strong electronics and/or electrical background
- The proven ability to fault-find to PCB level
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade A - C
Flexible and approachable, as the Fire Service Engineer / Team Leader, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, a customer focused attitude and great problem solving skills.
Previous experience of dealing with fire maintenance systems would be beneficial to your application, as would an ONC qualification in electrical and/or electronic engineering. Completion of an apprenticeship would also be advantageous.
