About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
AECOM has an excellent opportunity for a Sr Contracts Manager supporting our program in Alice Springs, Australia. AECOM is providing facilities management, operations and maintenance, in-town general services, site and space use planning, safety, health and environmental compliance, facilities and project engineering, security and access control, emergency management, freight and vehicle management, food services, and custodial services for a secure agency within the Department of Defense (DoD) at a joint operated, restricted access facility where employees are required to have a current TS/SCI with polygraph. The selected candidate will be an essential component of an integrated program leadership team and provide cradle-to-grave contract administration. The Sr Contracts Manager will provide contractual advice and guidance to Program Managers, Business Managers, and any other required personnel throughout the business acquisition lifecycle from contract award through performance and subsequent close-out; exercise judgment within defined practices and policies in selection of methods, techniques, and evaluation of criteria for obtaining results; work as required with other functional areas to ensure that budgets, schedules, compliance, quality and performance requirements are met; serve as the primary point of contact with the customer's contracting official; lead negotiations for all facets of contract requirements; review and analyze contract documents to determine contractual obligations; provide continual review and administration of assigned documents to ensure potential issues are identified prior to becoming problems, determine and communicate whether all terms and conditions are being met, and ensure identified problems are communicated to executive leadership for resolution in a timely manner; organize and manage contract documentation; work with Business Managers and the Pricing Department to provide guidance for establishment of cost and pricing data for the development of proposals in accordance with customer's request for proposals (RFP) specifications; perform special projects as required.
