Shift Teamleader/ Machine Setter|
To assist the Production Manager in the day to day manufacturing process and packing operations opposite shift supervisor and or shift Team Leader.
•Manage procedure in line with company absence management policy.
•Reviewing daily operational plans and requirements
•To carry out regular reviews of key staff and appraisals where relevant.
•Managing the supply of raw materials in/out of the production area
•Overseeing the team and working with them to ensure production targets are met.
-Ensure that the area of control is compliant with Health and Safety and Food Safety at all times, in line with the company documented H&S and Quality System
-Adhere to the Company Quality System at all times.
-Be familiar with and practice any individual customer requirements
-Maintain manufacturing quality standards against specification and to record any deviations from specification on the appropriate paperwork and to the Quality Department.
-Undertake basic machine maintenance including machine setting and tool changes on production line
-Ensure all documentation is correctly completed in accordance with work instructions and at end of sheet audit all production paperwork to ensure 100% compliance
-Provide end of shift information including usage and line efficiency.
-Ensure security of both the area of control, equipment and the site in general, at all times.
-Be aware of the lock up procedure for the site and ensure it is adhered to where appropriate
-Support the Production Manager in order to achieve the departmental objectives and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
-SIC (Short Interval Control) Information
-To ensure all staff are adequately trained in all compulsory safety, quality and general manufacturing policies and work instructions.
-Complete any training of line personnel on behalf of the company as required.
•Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or Higher
•Basic understanding of machinery maintenance including toll changing and line setting
•Food Manufacturing Experience in a similar role
Hours of work are Monday Friday 2pm to 10.00pm shift work
