Maintenance Supervisor - Waste Management|
Salary - c£35,000 DOE
Location - Oxford
We are currently seeking a Plant Supervisor/Engineer to oversee the maintenance on a specialist recycling facility around the Oxford area. Our client is a key player in the waste management industry within the UK providing environmental solutions for hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
As Maintenance Supervisor/Engineer your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising the day to day activity of the plants staff
* Adhering to the Environmental Permits
* Troubleshooting/fault finding, reactive maintenance on plant equipment
* Ensure all maintenance is planned and carried out efficiently
* Full compliance and implementation of health & safety policies
* Conducting inspections, quotations, analysis, staff training, hiring etc.
* Managing external contractors
The ideal applicant will have industry experience in a heavy plant environment (chemical process plant, MBT, MRF, AD etc.) with a strong Engineering background with an Engineering qualification (HND/HNC/ONC C&G, BTEC etc.), a knowledge of PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley, a logical and practical approach with the ability to manage themselves and a small team, proven leadership skills, NEBOSH/IOSH would be advantageous.
