Senior Quantity Surveyor - 3 Months Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in our London, Hither Green Office. As the right candidate you will be responsible for managing the post contracts on this project.

Key Accountabilities:

1 Ensuring the successful commercial performance of high complexity contracts or a section of a large project
2 Ensuring the effective management of contract customer Relationships (Internal and External) and the timely provision of information between all parties
3 Ensuring full compliance with commercial processes
4 Managing and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors
5 Ensure effective main and subcontract administration in order to deliver project commercial strategy
6 Working in conjunction with Operations team to identify, escalate and mitigate risks
7 Contributing to the Safety Leadership of the Project/Contract
8 Preparation and agreement of final accounts

Key Responsibilities:

1 Preparation and implementation of a project specific commercial strategy to ensure robust Cost Management and production of Project Monthly Reports in accordance with the clients Rail Reporting

1 Ensure Measure and Value is accurately and auditably measured in a timely manner to comply with financial guidelines.

1 Ensure robust Cost Control & Budget Management through the implementation of commercial review processes in accordance with the GMCE's and Commercial Manual monitored via commercial dashboards.

1 Ensure contemporary Record Keeping is undertaken by the Project/Contract and are organised to enable retrieval and access as defined by the conditions of contract.

1 Produce and maintain "First Principle" detailed Forecast Cost to Completion underpinned by a fully resourced programme in accordance with GMCE requirements.

1 Submit Applications in accordance with timescales detailed within the Contract and provide accurate and verifiable Cash flow forecasts to Finance.

1 Ensure Subcontract Administration is administered strictly in accordance with the specific agreement requirements, Fair Pay Charter and the Construction Act building strong supply chain relationships.
