The Company:

* This is an expanding Company that are looking to grow the existing Market Share within the UK through the fantastic service they give all clients

* This Company offer a full solution of Lighting Installation, Maintenance and Service to various clients in various locations with a focus on the Commercial and Retail sectors

The Role:

* This is a home based role covering the Southern Region, from the Midlands downwards, including East Anglia and South Wales
* Your role will be as the Operations Manager for Service, Installation and Service of Retail and Commercial throughout various locations in your territory
* With a mixture of highly skilled staff, approximately 20 in the team, you will effectively manage while using key skills on the projects given by the business thus ensuring the Service Level Agreements (SLA's) achieved
* You will manage your team budgeting and staffing levels, using Sub Contractors as required to keep within the given deadlines and requirements of various projects
* It is vital that you always seek to continually improve in every aspect of Company work while making sure yourself and the teams are compliant with all Health and Safety Guidelines
* You will interact with the customers of the Business and external suppliers, effective and professional communication is vital to the Company at all times
* Although you will work mainly within Southern England, you could be expected to spend some time away from home from time to time

The Ideal Person:

* It is vital that anyone joining the Company comes from a Lighting Installation or Maintenance background and has worked in a managerial level position, preferably within Commercial or Retail Lighting
* You will need to have managed a team of at least 5 or more people with mixed skill sets and understand the importance of utilising skills to get tasks completed to the highest standard
* Anyone applying will need to have very strong communication skills, dealing customers and trades people, understanding the importance of building effective relationships
* You could come from a Facility Management Company, Internal Maintenance Department or an Electrical Contractor, as long as you have dealt with the Installation and Maintenance of Lighting
* The applicant will need to have an understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) while being able to implement these things in day to day working across various teams
* Anyone applying will need to have very strong IT skills and be able to use packages such as Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
