Reporting to the Head of Capital Development within the Estates and Facilities Directorate, the Cost and Programme Manager will manage all costs relating to capital development projects, ensuring costs are managed effectively and value-for-money is enhanced whilst still achieving the required standards and quality. This will also require maintaining a master programme for all projects to ensure that matters such as cash flow, budget forecasting procurement and commercial issues are proactively managed.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in a quantity surveying, cost and/or commercial management role gained in a relevant context. You will have strong programme management and reporting skills, particularly from commercial management and risk assurance perspective and will be highly numerate and analytical. Experience of working on capital projects and programmes similar to those found at Plymouth University would be advantageous.
