Job Title: - Design Coordinator / Assistant Design Manager

Location: - Oxford

Salary: - £35,000 - £45,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Health Care + Pension + Holiday

My client is a well respected regional contractor based out of Wantage, Oxfordshire. Due to new contracts secured and growth within the business a new role has arisen as a Design Coordinator / Assistant Design Manager to aid in the construction of various schemes in the Thames Valley area. My client has a fantastic track record of successful projects, their portfolio ranges from commercial, education, health care & industrial with value of contracts ranging from £3 Million to £30 Million. Predominantly they operate within a geographical area of Berkshire, Oxford and Surrey .

The Design Coordinator will be managing the design process for traditional, design and build contacts and act as the main point of contact for the design teams. This role entails working alongside a Senior Design Manager and developing your career and growing with the company is the main aim of this family owned company.

Key responsibilities

* To manage the design process for traditional D&B, JCT and NEC contracts.
* Provide main contact for the design teams.
* Coordinate design information supplied.
* Compliance checks again specifications.
* Compliance checks against clients requirements.
* Manage design output.
