Reporting to the Head Of Estimating & Pre-Construction, to assist in the co-ordination of submission and proposals development and carry out analytical pricing of in-house produced Bills of Quantities using Conquest Estimating System, while working closely with the development of bids where required. You are to assist, as directed with a new initiative or role requested by the internal stakeholders, and department heads, and research and investigate new Government or industry initiatives.
The Estimator will be experienced in estimating a full portfolio of projects, with a good knowledge of procurement methods. It is essential to have a good understanding of the partnering process, and traditional contracting process, and proficient in public presentation and submission methods.
Estimator with a main contractor background, experience in a portfolio of projects, computerised estimating skills, preferably Estimate or ConQuest.
Must have spent at least 2 year in a permanent role, with a main contractor, as an estimator.
The remuneration is negotiable, and can improve, with more experience and knowledge
