Our client, a british cloud and networking pioneer are seeking a Business Development Consultant. The individual will be responsible for securing new business within the SME/MLE market to help with the company's continued growth and heighten their profile within the Telecoms arena. You will be selling the company's Cloud, Voice and Data products.

Key responsibilities for the role are as follows;

You will need to ensure all sales targets are achieved on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis

You will be required to plan sales strategies and liase with marketing to produce campaigns to increase the company's brand and technical awareness in the Telecoms arena

You will need to be able to have solid communication skills in order to advise clients on the best services and solutions to fulfill their requirements

You will be responsible for negotiating pricing with clients, taking into consideration their own budgets whilst working in line with the company's pricing structures

You will need to be able to accurately forecast sales and provide regular activity reporting

You will be required to keep the CRM up date for all accounts, contacts, prospects etc

Attend networking events which might be subject to being outside of normal working hours

You will responsible for motivating and driving yourself to meet your career and personal goals alongside the company's development programs

Knowledge and experience required to be successful in the role is as follows;

You will need to be able to demonstrate a new business track record selling cloud, telecoms, ISP, systems integrator or carrier space products

Have a good understanding of cloud, data, voice, connectivity, WAN and internet network technology

Have great communication and interpersonal skills in order to win trust and build long lasting working relationships

Be committed, driven, self motivated and eager to develop as an individual

Have experience of achieving up to £500,000 p/a sales targets
