We are seeking a Cyber Analyst to work closely with our Security Operations Centre outsource partner of choice on analysing incoming and potential security threats to the business. |
We are working with a leader in the Aviation industry providing vital information to airlines within British Aerospace. The implementation of a multi -million project means an increase and development of the cyber security team is needed.
You will act as the key contact for the relationship and you will be tasked with monitoring the incoming alerts and alarms sent by our security partner. Your task is to ensure these alerts and threats are either critical or non-critical and ensure the business along with our security partner responds in the correct and efficient manner.
You will be working in a very new department, providing you with the opportunity to develop and grow with the business and develop into a senior cyber security professional.
The successful person will also be responsible for tracking and reporting incidents and providing analysis back to the Information Security management and providing key information on current risks and trends within cyber security to ensure that the business can be best prepared for possible risks.
This is a role that has a large amount of customer contact, so we are looking for someone that can communicate effectively and precisely and has a good understanding of the key factors a customer would be concerned with, along with the effects on the internal business surrounding cyber security.
No particular SIEM system knowledge is required however, the successful candidate must have demonstrated they have worked on SIEM tools previously and ideally
