Due to tremendous growth our Client is looking for a driven, smart and experienced sales executives who can foster and develop existing client relationships and usage as well as the ability to drive new customer acquisitions to join their fun and fast paced team. Their sales organisation offers the unique culture of a "startup" feel with the actual security of proven success. The Major Account Executive is responsible for the sales cycle - from lead generation, renewals to deal closures by creating the demand within their region across all business verticals and assigned accounts.

The Major Account Executive will be part of the UK/I Region reporting into the Regional Sales Manager.


Required Education and Experience:
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
* 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree {add Degree info here} or its equivalent or
* 3 years of relevant experience and a Master's degree or
* Relevant experience and a PhD
* Equivalent professional experience ideally Broadcasting, Publishing, Gaming, Gambling, Security or Networking.

Major Account Executives are responsible for both a revenue number as well as a new business number (Committed Contract Value). Goals/Quotas are set annually but measured monthly and quarterly. Key Major Account Executive activities are focused on acquiring New Customers, defending existing revenue, renewing contracts, prospecting for new business and reporting your activity through (url removed) (using all the correct processes) on a daily and weekly basis;

* Identify, research, prospect and acquire New Customers within set of Target Industry Prospects.
* Deliver and overachieve on all annual goals: Revenue, New Customer Contract Value, New Customer Units, Strategic Product Sales.
* Manage and maintain all pipeline/sales related activity within the sales reporting system.
* Work as part of an 'Integrated Account Team' to define and deliver a premium customer experience over multiple year engagements.

Desired Skills:
*Proven Track Record in over-achieving quarterly and annual quotas of 3 million and higher through direct field sales.
*High ethics, integrity, and personal drive.
*Strong knowledge of Internet and telecommunications concepts and demonstrate the ability to discuss them with intelligence and conviction.
*Formal sales training and understanding of: Solution-Selling and/or Value Selling training or other metrologies.
*Ideal candidates will bring with them a range of Internet industry-related contacts in ideally Broadcasting, Publishing, Gaming, Gambling, Security or Networking.
*Strong background in Internet infrastructure and/or enterprise solution software required.
