The role involves being responsable for the project management from specification right through to completion of a variety of machinery used in the pharmaceutical, bio-medical and general process industries. It is typically fabricated machinery with complex assemblies incorporating valves, seals and mechanisms. The challenge comes in designing to high specifications ensuring all the relevant standards are met. It's interesting; it's varied and will challenge all good mechanical engineers.
The company are looking for someone from a mechanical engineering background that relishes working in a varied environment. They are looking for someone with an HNC as a minimum, with the ability to support and improve processes and increase efficiency on project lead times. The individual should be a self-motivated engineer who likes working part of a team on both small and large value projects. If you come from special purpose machinery that will help although is not essential.
