Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Mobile role covering - Watford, Hemel Hempstead, West London, Hampshire, Hertfordshire

Salary: £34,000 + vehicle + overtime and other benefits.

The Role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing service, maintenance, breakdown and repair work across retail and commercial sites across the West London and Home Counties area.

The majority of work will fault finding, testing and some rewire work. Experience of working with emergency lighting, fire alarms and UPS systems.

There may also be occasions where the successful Engineer is asked to perform general building fabric maintenance whilst on site, which may include (but is not limited to) joinery, plastering, and basic plumbing and building work.

The Ideal Candidate


* Apprentice trained and Level 3 City & Guilds qualified; 17th Edition, 2391 / 2394 / 2395, 236 Part 1 & 2, etc.
* Have worked for an FM provider / multi-disciplined building services provider previously and be able to demonstrate maintenance skills outside of electrical maintenance.
* Strong experience of service, maintenance, breakdown and repair work on commercial gas systems
* Be able and willing to perform various building maintenance including, basic mechanical, joinery and general fabric work
* At least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience


* Additional building services related trade qualifications
* Additional tickets such as First at Work, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness
