The Company was formed with the aim of providing a fresh and innovative approach in the delivery of essential outsourced engineering services to the Power, Refining, Chemical, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing and Infrastructures Sectors both in the UK and Overseas.

Manage and control expenditure across specific and varied categories to deliver best value to the Company whilst retaining long term relationships with our key suppliers
Provide support for the Company's Proposals Department by providing securing price information for ma-terial and subcontracted packages.
Provide support for the Company's Accounts Department by ensuring that invoices received for category purchases accurately reflect the Purchase Orders and formal agreements for materials services and sub-contracts.

Materials and Consumables
Contribute to the management of the Company's expenditure for Materials, Services and Subcontracts.
Contribute to the Negotiation of Framework Agreements with the Company's high expenditure Suppliers and Subcontractors
Identify key suppliers and develop appropriate relationship to secure long term requirements.

Commercial thinking
Improve preferential discounts and rebates and formalise agreements.
Continually pursue best value
Deliver savings across all categories, actively pursue, record and formerly report savings.
Improve preferential discounts when purchasing on the Company's behalf.

Innovation and change
Support the development and implementation of formal procedure and actively maintain adherence to those procedures.
Champion innovations and change to service provision bringing new ideas and new ways of working to the business.
Drive innovations and changes to service delivery through operational management and liaison with site based teams delivering efficiencies and savings.
Identify opportunities with both new and existing suppliers to implement new products and techniques to drive efficiencies.

Essential Experience:
5+ years within a service organisation for the refining/power generation/manufacturing/process or similar industries.
Knowledge and understanding of the operational aspects of service delivery for an engineering and design company.
Possession of CIPS Diploma or working towards is desirable but may not be essential
