Suppression/Sprinkler Systems Lead Inspector

About the role:

  • The lead inspector will be responsible to perform and supervise routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance on sprinkler and suppression systems.
  • Lead inspector combines working knowledge of technical principles and concepts with in depth knowledge of team objectives. Ensure the quality and service of self and others.
  • Regularly leads teams and provides technical leadership.
  • Follow and assist in training others on maintaining a highly structured inspection schedule.
  • Audits the service delivery and reviews performance and productivity of inspection team.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices, such as laptop computers and to ensure proper flow of information (reports, debriefs, etc) from field staff to office staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in service, installation or inspections in fire & security industry
  • Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of local and national fire code requirements.
  • Knowledge of multiple lines of fire protection equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as MS Office.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50- 70 bs
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders,scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Willing to travel out of town including overnight lodging.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to lead and to work well with others.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check
