About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary
  • The Financial Analyst administers program efforts providing Staffing Support, Logistical Support, Security, and Business Process Services to U.S. Government customer. The qualified candidate should have experience and possess proficiency to accomplish the following:
  • Analyzes financial status by collecting, monitoring, and studying data; recommending actions.
  • Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data.
  • Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions.
  • Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data.
  • Recommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials.

Minimum Requirements
  • Having a solid grounding in U.S. Government regulations related to the acquisition and delivery of goods and services across the supply chain is a benefit.
  • Will ensure that contract standards are maintained relating to cost and financial performance in accordance with the scope of the contract and company standards and policies.
  • must be an effective team member with experience in budgeting, cost reporting, cost control, meeting scheduled timelines, and increasing performance through process improvement.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of professional experience in financial management and budgeting
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong oral and written communications
  • Team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter who displays initiative and can work independently. The attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under tight timelines is also critical to this position.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
