Our Townsville Branch requires an experienced technician to join the team as a Truck Bay Supervisor, bringing with them, a b road mechanical and/or electrical repair and maintenance capability. We are looking for someone with the capability of carrying out repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision, ideally with hands on, practical exposure to working on Cummins products

This key appointment will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching all of the day to day activities of workshop functions, as well as providing operational direction and leadership to technicians and apprentices.

As the successful candidate, some of your critical responsibilities will be:
  • Prioritising safety in all aspects of the workshop
  • Providing leadership and support to apprentices and technicians
  • Carrying out hands-on mechanical work
  • Ensuring the on-time completion of scheduled work
  • Being a technical expert and advisor to the team
  • Having key decision making skills throughout the repair process
  • Managing the repair strategy and the coordination of parts support
We are seeking an experienced supervisor with a strong technical background within a similar workshop environment. You will have heavy diesel experience, strong leadership skills with people management experience and high motivation towards developing a strong, results focused team. A commitment to safety and providing world class customer service are also essential to this role.
