My client is a well established structural consultancy; they have 3 offices based in Henley, Gloucester and London. This position is for a Structural CAD technician for their head office in Henley on Thames. You should live within commutable distance to the practice and have a full driving licence and car.|
Contract or Permanent
They relate to a broad range of building structure and civil engineering works and aim to provide an efficient, economical and professional service to all Clients and other members of their team. All projects are overseen by a Chartered Engineer who is responsible for ensuring that all staff employed on the project are suitably qualified for their involvement. It is the responsibility of the Engineer controlling the project to ensure at the planning stage that adequate time and resources are allocated to fulfil all elements of the design process.
They seek an AutoCAD structural technician with a reasonable amount of experience to be able to hit the ground running and work with a fast paced team. Key responsibilities include, preparing drawings, sketches and graphics with minimal supervision. You should have a CV which demonstrates your previous track record of being a proficient structural draftsperson.
All staff are encouraged to discuss technical issues and share the results of research carried out during project works, thus creating a robust technical framework. Any Revit or RC experience is advantageous.
