Our client is a national contractor carrying out repair and maintenance services on behalf of the social housing sector.|
They are keen to employ an industry specific Electrical Quantity Surveyor for an ongoing long term contract in Hackney - Greater London.
About The Role
The purpose of the role is to manage the day to day financial, cost control and reporting of a heating service and install contract to and including completion of client and sub contract final accounts, recovery/discharge of all retention's and completion of archive material.
You will be responsible for the effective commercial management of all allocated projects including provision of timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the Surveying timetable, in particular Monthly Cost/Value Reports, all elemental reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, etc. You will also take the lead to establish appropriate targets/rates and re-measurement/evaluation of subcontractor/labour only/direct labour outputs.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the social housing sector with proven track record in a commercial role, particularly within the property services or similar related industry. You will have experience of leading the commercial function and demonstrate effective cash management of the project.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and deliver effective interaction with all members of the project team.
You will have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with the client, employer's representative and supply chain.
You may have experience of the following:
Commercial lead, Cost planning, Commercial Management, Contract administration, Property Services, Facility Management, Construction, Building Management Systems, Procurement, Risk Management, Task Management IT systems.
It is essential that applicants hold a full UK driving license.
