About the Role
* Reporting into Pre Construction Director
* Responsible for £9m Supply Chain Spend (approx.)
* Working with those individuals to manage and maintain a wide range of important project documents, correspondence, drawings and schematics

Review and update supply chain practices in line with clients, new and changing environmental policies, standards and regulations.
Review existing supply chain and grow/add new suppliers.
Negotiate prices, terms and rebates with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery.
Monitor forecasts on projects and determine best price.
Integrate design and procurement solutions in line with our clients (using Asta PowerProject)
Implement new or improved supply chain practices.
Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, operations and quality assurance to identify or qualify new suppliers.
Analyse information regarding supplier performance or procurement program success.
Design or implement supply chains that support environmental policies, ensure waste carrier licenses etc are in place.
Develop labour only sub-contractors options for projects/growth.
Ensure all supply chain insurances are in place and produce date matrix.
Document physical supply chain workload matrix for all projects to ensure we do not
Ensure procurement meetings with supply chain when nominated for projects to ensure:
o Compliance with tender specification and dwgs.
o Achieve best price negotiate discounts.
o Agree start and completion dates with Operation department.
o Request technical submittals of all equipment to be installed and pass to design/operations team for issue to client.
Design or implement supply chains that support our business strategies and also create "quid pro quo" business opportunities or cost reduction strategies.
Conduct or oversee the conduct of life cycle analysis to determine best choice and impact on environment.
Design, implement or oversee material returns to suppliers and ensure credits.
Ensure subcontractors are encouraged to provide value engineering schemes in tandem with estimating and ensure best value.
Arrange seminars with supply chain and ensure compliance with company values and ethos, quality, health and safety, zero defects, attending to defects post completion. Coach and develop supply chain.
Ensure documenting/recording of information is available for the team.
Introduce best working practices.
Develop specific goals and plans to priorities, organise and accomplish work load.
