A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional to join a family owned business that develop construct and operate purpose built care homes for the elderly.|
Based in Hertfordshire you will be covering sites and locations throughout the North and Western Home Counties.
The role is to be responsible for Health & safety, develop and improve the health & safety culture within the business. Advice, coach, influence and manage construction teams on site to improve health & safety awareness and practices throughout a growing company.
The role is both strategic and hands on. Providing advice and practical support to the construction manager and senior maintenance managers leading the 24/7 in-house maintenance team for the care homes. Organizing health & Safety training for staff and teams across the company.
You will also be required to visit the company's locations in Herts, Bucks, Berks, Northants and Oxon to support site and care home managers etc at their different locations.
To be considered for this role you must have hands construction experience in a Health & Safety role.
Ideally they are looking for someone that holds a NEBOSH Diploma, NCRQ Diploma or equivalent.
They will consider outstanding candidates with a NEBOSH General, NCRQ or equivalent.
Reporting the board of directors.
