Position: Contract Solutions Architect|
Location: Central London
Day Rate: £500 to £575
Duration: 3 Months (3 to 5 days per week)
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to work closely with the Head of IT and CTO on the intelligent trains programme for the rail division of a major FTSE 250 company based in central London.
The company uses a fully managed network from their strategic partner covering multiple sites and you will be required to influence and shape the provider to design new solutions in line with the change programme.
You will be delivering a customer focused experience on board and on station cutting edge Wi-Fi solution including media portals and content provision
You will be the solutions lead on a major project to deliver free WiFi to a large fleet, working within a multi-agency task force, responsible for delivering the network activities for on-board WiFi infrastructure and integrate multiple services such as their content management system and the interface with the rail passengers.
You will also be responsible for all ensuring any new service has been evaluated for Network impact and providing risk mitigation options where needed
You will be responsible for creating and governing a network infrastructure standard deployed to multiple locations.
Key Experience Required
You will be an experienced Solutions Architect that has previously deployed multi-vendor complex WiFi solutions into public user space ideally with exposure to AAA authentication integrations.
You will have experience in delivering complex change into an end user environment, ideally within a rail or retail environment.
You will need to have a strong understanding of Service Architecture principles with solid experience of delivering a solution in conjunction with external partners.
You will have a good understanding of Secure Network topologies and rules to ensure security standards are maintained and continually updated.
You will have experience with a broad range of architectural methodologies and frameworks, i.e. TOGAF 9
