This leading IT service company based in London is looking to hire a desk side support engineer. The role will involve managing the process for clients, from initial notification, through to the allocation of equipment and accounts, assisting with general desk side duties in the installation and support of hardware, monitoring client systems to proactively find and list new joiners and managing the ordering etc. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Excel, incident management, request management and experience of call management software. You will also have good communication skills - both written and verbal, the ability to calmly manage customers and the ability to influence others and move towards a common vision or goal and be flexible and adaptable.

You will need previous experience in a similar role with flexibility to travel to London based clients as a cover engineer or be fixed to one site. The client will offer training on clients site where necessary. Opportunities beyond this role will be offered internally as a priority and routes to 3rd line, systems engineering and more senior on-site roles may be available
