What is the role?

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced System Administrator (3rd Line Support Analyst / Infrastructure Support Analyst / Operations Engineer) to join a rapidly growing business and IT department.

The System Administrator is a hands-on role that will be responsible for the maintaining a high level of availability for all Businesses Services including Retail & Football Services. Ensuring excellent standards of quality, repeatability and delivery are maintained.

This is a visible, user facing role where you will be part of the IT team supporting the business critical systems, ensuring timely resolution to escalated incidents, service requests and problems. The System Administrator will be approachable, helpful and customer focused with the desire and motivation to succeed.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced IT professional who is ITIL qualified, who takes ownership and accountability for their work.

We need a candidate who has a good team ethic in their approach to working practices and can work well in a progressive but busy team.

The competencies which are required include:

Experience Essential
•5+ years' experience working in a comparable role in an enterprise environment.

Experience Desirable
•Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with continual demands and changing priorities.

Qualifications Essential
•ITIL Foundation

Qualifications Desirable
•ITIL Intermediaries
•Project Management (Agile, PRINCE2)

Skills Essential
•Strong, confident, self-motivated and willing to take ownership and accountability for the current and future core technology stack in operation at SFC.
•Used to working and adhering to the ITIL Framework for Service Design, Transition and Operation.
•A practical individual who is also comfortable strategising and dividing their time between project work, support and maintenance.
•Demonstrate and foster a collaborative team approach and interact well with front line and management providing consultation and expert advice.
•Datacentre & Servers (Microsoft 2008/2012 Server, Active Directory)
•System Centre Operation Manager (SCOM)
•System Centre Data Protection Manager (DPM)
•Patch management
•Hyper-V, Active Directory, PowerShell, DHCP, DNS, Clustering

Skills Desirable
•Demonstrable documentation skills including HLD, LLD, user training and technical how to documents
•System Management Applications (HP SIM, SCCM, VMM, SCCM, DPM)
•MAC, Linux and Networks
•RDS, AppV & Hyper
•Retail Services
•IPTV & Multimedia Services (TriplePlay)
•HP Flex 10 Fabric
•Office 365, SharePoint, Unified Communications & VOIP (NEC U3c)
