We are seeking a dynamic Flood Risk Modeller / Drainage Engineer to join our client in Basingstoke! Our client is an engineering consultancy that offer a wide spectrum of services, starting at the planning stage and including transport planning advice, drainage, utilities and flood risk assessments. Due to an increasing workload they are now seeking an intermediate to senior Civil Engineer with well-rounded Flood Risk & Drainage experience looking to take their career to the next level.

As the selected candidate, you will work with both private and public sector clients on a range of projects, including flood risk assessments, flood defense schemes, major commercial & residential developments. You will be a fundamental part of the team responsible for the Flood Risk Modelling, analysis and technical planning / review of relevant drainage designs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce engineering designs and solutions
* Investigation and assessment of fluvial and coastal flood risk issues
* Undertake quality assurance and technical reviews

Essential Requirements:

* Experience in a similar role (Civil Engineer, Flood Risk Modeller, Drainage Engineer)
* Proficient use of related packages such as GIS & Windes
* Experience on UK flood / drainage or major water management projects
* Understanding of relevant UK water & drainage policies
