Position: Design Development Engineer - Water|

Our client provides complete solutions for water treatment, innovating in key areas such as sustainable development, resource and by-product recovery. Their differentiating water treatment processes enable them to offer solutions suited to every application.
They are currently looking to recruit a Design Development Engineer for their offices in High Wycombe with some UK and overseas travel as required.
You will be working within a small team of Development Engineers who perform the design engineering of laboratory water treatment equipment. You will be involved in the engineering aspects of a range of development projects involving design, construction, and assembly and testing. A key part of this role is determining the feasibility of engineering designs and taking into account factors such as system effectiveness, reliability, configuration and cost.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with many of their teams including Research and Development, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Marketing. They an engineer who has the vision, ability and energy to provide the necessary focus and drive on existing key projects, and to be a key input in the ongoing strategic product development roadmap.
They are a global business, so within this role, on occasion you will have the opportunity to travel.
A training and development plan will be designed for you as we so that you can grow and develop within the company and this may include external training as required for the role.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
A background in Engineering, Design, Design for Manufacturing, Industrial Design or similar.
An engineering or design qualification or relevant subject - minimum HNC
Experience of working in a product design and development role or environment.
Applied knowledge of plastic injection moulding in 3D
Experience of designing products from concept to creation to an engineered standard.
Proficient on Creo, Pro-Engineer (Pro-E), SolidWorks or Inventor 3D CAD
