Engineering Trainer/ Assessor- Specialising in CNC Machining|
Benefits: Holidays -25 days + bank holidays (4 of the 25 have to be held for Christmas). Laptop + mobile phone. 40p a mile fuel.
Location: Birmingham and surrounding areas
My client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing apprenticeship provider, are seeking an engineering trainer / assessor to join their experienced team of enthusiastic engineers.
The role itself is training in Engineering manufacturing, mechanical engineering and CNC operating and programming. It is training within the centre based in Birmingham to apprentices- 16-18 year olds on a practical level with some theory. Then it is having a base of learners to go out and assess in their workplaces - the companies are based in and around Birmingham, and a few in Worcestershire and Tamworth.
They are looking for an experienced engineering trainer ideally with industry experienced as well. They will put you through your teaching qualification as long as you have the assessors/ a1/ taqa award. The most important part of the experience needed is the CNC side of it. You will also have to have a level 3 minimum in Engineering, and a car with a driver's licence.
They are looking for someone to start ASAP - however would wait for the right person if necessary due to notice periods etc.
If you would like to know more about the role, to apply or perhaps you are looking for staff of this nature? Then please call Manhay on (Apply online only) to apply or send your cv through to the email address (or look on our website).
