Maintenance Technician - Biogas|
Salary - c£27,000 basic + benefits
Location - Tewkesbury
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician/Engineer to work within the biogas sector. Our client produces turnkey biogas plants throughout the UK and are continuously expanding. They need a Time Severed Technician with experience of electrical and control systems such as SCADA & DCS etc. to help the smooth running of their biogas plant in the Tewkesbury area.
Responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician will include:
* Understanding and reading engineering drawings and schematics
* Assist in site project management when required
* Day to day maintenance on all plant and equipment
* Interpreting SCADA generated alarms to identify problems
* General PPM activities
* Ensure the smooth operation of the plant
* Abide by all health & safety procedures
* Respond to out of hours on-call duties if needed
* Other duties as required
The ideal candidate will have a processing, energy from waste, recycling, chemical, anaerobic digestion or waste water background, a relevant Engineering qualification with experience of SCADA, DCS etc. hold a full and clean UK licence.
The salary offered is £27,000 depending on experience including call out pay, private healthcare and great company pension.
