Head of Maintenance - Riyadh Airport, KSA|
Our client supplies operational and management to airports globally.
They provide end-to-end operational solutions and advisory services to airport clients having strong aviation expertise.
Recent strategy is to target dynamic airport environments across the globe, particularly in the Middle East and have recently been successful in securing the contract to manage a Terminal at Riyadh Airport.
They are seeking to expand the team and recruit a Head of Maintenance to support this contract at Riyadh Airport. This role will be appointed on a three year contract.

The Head of Maintenance will be responsible for setting maintenance strategy, plans and annual budgets in line with the facilities operational plan and policy framework. This role has responsibility for defining contract scope and ensuring that the assigned facilities management contractor delivers to agreed standards and metrics. He/she will monitor the operational performance of the FM contractor against the approved targets and KPIs.
Maintaining strong business partnerships with key stakeholders of the maintenance service and contributing to and instilling a culture of trust and transparency with internal stakeholders will be a key requirement. He/she will also be responsible for driving measurable increases in customer service and satisfaction, value for money and business efficiency.
Knowledge/skills and experience
The successful candidate will be a highly qualified industry professional with ten years+ leadership experience, with a background that covers the full spectrum of large scale maintenance project life cycles. A third level qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering is essential. Experience managing third party maintenance service providers would also be a distinct advantage.
As a key member of the senior management team within the operation he/she will be a proven leader, motivator and communicator with the ability to demonstrate successful management of internal and external stakeholder groups. As a critical member of the leadership team they will demonstrate vision, innovation and creativity and demonstrate a commitment to developing and getting the best from people.
