About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
The Space and or Satellite Communications WDC Implementation Developer will support the Space Warfare Mission Area Department, a division of the Information Warfare Development Center. The Space and or Satellite Communications WDC Implementation Developer will possess thorough knowledge and experience with regulatory requirements detailed in applicable Department of Navy policy, (e.g., NTTP3-14 series) and Joint Publications JP3-14. As a Space Operations SME, the Space and or Satellite Communications WDC Developer must be familiar with the application of all aspects of Space and or Satellite Communications applicable planning and coordination of spectrum dependent systems and networks in support of Fleet operations.
SMEs shall possess a minimum of 10 years of Fleet/Information Warfare experience as well as general doctrine development to include CONOPS development, Navy and Joint concept development and experimentation, Navy C5I capabilities, warfighting areas, and organization/planning/communication skills to support all facets of NAVIFOR's/IWDC's mission.
Minimum of 10 years of operational leadership experience equivalent to a US Navy shipboard division officer (0-3/0-4), chief petty officer (E-7/8), or chief warrant officer (CWO 3/4) with Navy or Joint Staff experience providing Space and or Satellite Communications operations, and having knowledge and understanding of applicable technical concepts and practices in order to support Space and or Satellite Communications readiness across the DOTMPLF (Doctrine, Training, Materiel, Personnel, Leadership, Facilities).

- JPME I or II graduate, Enlisted Warfare Specialist
- Ten years of progressively responsible experience directly related to Space and or Satellite Communications Operations management.
- Three years of operational experience as a Space Cadre or Space Acquisition Member or in a senior communications billet afloat using the Afloat Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Program (AESOP).
- A graduation certificate from a SPACE 200 course, or Space Warfighter Preparation Course, or National Systems Information Course, SATCOM Course, Collection Manager School, and ET/IT/IS/CTT A/F Schools.
- Personnel (Officer/Enlisted) who have who has successfully completed a tour in a SEW shore billet which provides division officer/chief experience.
- Two years of experience in a Space or Satellite Communications Managers related billet and or possess the (VS) Additional Qualification Designator.
