Job Title: Planning Manager
Location: Central London
Salary: £85-£95k + Car Allowance and Paid Travel
A London based main contractor specialising in Prime Residential New Build and Refurbishments. Currently set to turn over circa £50m in 2016. The business operate throughout London and intend to expand their sector portfolio, this will be achievable with the recent internal senior staff appointments, including a Managing Estimator and Production Director.
We are looking for a Senior Planner/Planning Lead to join a growing business and new senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the company planning function and site planning solutions. Currently the contractor operate across the residential market refurbishing and converting existing dwellings in to prime residential homes.
Your Duties will include:
Pre-tender Planning - Production of outline method statements, site layouts, programmes & other diagrams for incorporation into the submission document. Attendance at Client's pre-tender selection interviews & presentations as required
Tender Planning - Production of fully integrated pre-construction, design, procurement and construction programmes & other tender information including site layouts and phasing diagrams.
Liaison with design team & production of design programmes integrated with the overall programme including procurement.
Production of scaffold schedules, tower crane and hoisting specifications for pricing, also other plant if required.
Attend settlement meetings and present proposals to Directors and other Senior Managers
Contract Planning - Develop Tender Programme into Construction phase Master or Contract programme.
Preparation of coordinated procurement programmes & schedules
Preparation of Information Required Schedules
Independent progress reports to Directors including recommendations
Template programmes and reports
Presentation at Senior Manager's Meetings of planning procedures and outputs for adoption into company procedures
