My client is a successful Surveying Consultancy who have exciting expansion plans for the future. They are a professional honest and accomplished in their dealing as well as being ambitious, innovative and dynamic in their culture. They pride themselves on employing knowledgeable and experiences Surveyors and ensuring survey reports are clear and informative.

The role will be predominantly undertaking Building Surveys in accordance with the bespoke site survey template. You will also be providing clients with information relating to repairs and anticipated maintenance issues so the successful candidate will need a thorough understanding of construction and repair methods as well as knowledge of contractor and material rates.

Clients are based throughout London and the Home Counties.

You will be carrying out property surveys detailing defects both internally and externally
Make detailed roof assessments and detailed damp assessment with the use of specialist equipment
Compile detailed site notes and digital photographs
Produce clear and informative writing reports and cost estimates for note defects
Client communication by phone and email

To apply for this vacancy you must meet the following criteria:

- You MUST be a member of the RICS with a minimum of AssocRICS accreditations and a minimum or three years PQE
- ideally you will be MRICS
- You will have an understanding of property defects and repairs internally and externally, as well as building and planning regulations and other relevant legislation
- Understanding of repair costs assessments
- Specific defect surveys
- Experience of party wall matters, preparing schedules of conditions and assessing claims post works and measured surveys will be an advantage
- Condition Reports and Schedules of Dilapidations
- You must have a high levels of attention to detail and an enquiring mind
- The ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
- Must have good client relationship skills
- Be a keen team member with the ability to accept responsibility and work on your own initiative
- You must have your own vehicle, client will pay a set mileage rate / car allowance
