Bid Manager - Residential Main Contractor - Kent - Permanent £30,000 - £55,000 per annum.|
One of the UK's leading new build residential and refurbishment main contractors is seeking an experienced Bid Manager. The opportunity to join the Bid Team has arisen due to planned expansion within the business. Based in their head offices in Kent, the Bid Manager will be working within the refurbishment division of the business. The Bid Manager must be ambitious and efficient as they will be focused on securing new work and aiding in the growth of group turnover.
The refurbishment division provide planned maintenance and refurbishment to the public sector. They are recognised for their high quality delivery of both large and small scale schemes. They have build long standing relationships with their clients and repeat business accounts for 50% of their revenue. They offer a wide range of services including internal and external refurbishment, large estate regeneration, educational refurbishments and gas maintenance contracts.
As a Bid Manager your duties will include:
Responsible for the timely planning, management and completion of quality submissions
Read, understand and extract the key bid requirements from the documentation received and communicate with all parties via Tracking Sheets; Planning and Review meetings
Identify and communicate evaluation criteria and its relevance to question specific scores
Plan, write & co-ordinate submission responses ensuring client and job specific answers
Development of both internal and external relationships in association with the bid process
The Bid Manager must be highly organised with a strong attention to detail who places great emphasis on communication skills and relationship building. A graduate or professional qualification as well as experience with desktop publishing packages is desirable
