This is a brilliant opportunity for an intermediate Quantity Surveyor with a determined and motivated attitude. You will be instrumental in aiding delivery on a number of responsive maintenance and planned maintenance social housing contracts across the Midlands region. The main focus as Quantity Surveyor will be to oversee the costings and it is imperative you have a good understanding of the National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates.
Key Skills required:
• Evaluation of contract documentation
• Setting out bills of quantities
• Working to a schedule of rates
• Site monitoring & progression reports
• Completing and agreeing monthly variations and valuations
• On-going and Post contract administration
• Working within a customer focused team
• Good at problem solving and providing effective solutions to the clients and the delivery team
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in social housing refurbishment contracts within the Social Housing Arena.
In return this contractor will offer you a chance to progress your career within a national business built on family values.
