My client, a residential developer, are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to work on their residential regeneration development in Greenwich. The client has an outstanding reputation for delivering a top quality product on time and budget whilst working hard to ensure they have a pleasant working environment.|
The project is a large residential new build project of over a thousand units with a number of years remaining on the project. It is in the main of RC frame construct which are of a medium to high specification and value but their is also a traditional build element in addition to refurbishment, an extremely varied and interesting project. They require a Project Quantity Surveyor to work alongside the commercial team under the Managing Surveyor on the day to day commercial running of the job.
The are ideally looking to bring on someone on a temp to perm basis and following their probationary freelance period will be taken on board as a permanent member of staff.
The successful applicant for this Quantity Surveying role will ideally be dynamic in their work ethic and the opportunity will need the following skill set along with a past working history of successfully completing residential developments on budget and on time. It is an exciting opportunity with real possibilities to develop and flourish in this ever expanding development empire.
Preferred minimum qualifications will be:
-Ideally appropriate degree
-BSc quantity surveying or equivalent
-At least 6 years' experience
Other duties will include:
-Sub contractual procurement
-Valuations and commercial reporting and control
-Final account agreement
