Senior Quantity Surveyor - Planned & Reactive Maintenance (Social Housing)|

£40K - £55K per annum DOE + Benefits

Due to a very ambitious growth plan regarding future expansion within the social housing / maintenance sector, my client is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS to work on a £multi million planned and reactive maintenance contract in Kingston Upon Thames.
Reporting to Director Level you will be responsible for all commercial activities pertaining to the Social Housing & Maintenance Divisions covering reactive/responsive & planned maintenance contracts throughout the South East. Assisting with the operational you will also be involved with the strategic planning in line with the 5 year business plan regarding expansion. You will also liaise with clients and other internal partners ensuring any disputes are resolved amicably.
Other duties will include:
* Submitting final accounts
* Monthly profit and loss accounts
* Procurement for all current and future contracts via close communication with the Contract Teams.
This position is a specific requirement for my client and therefore you must have recent, relevant experience on responsive / reactive maintenance contracts or planned maintenance (preferentially both). In addition, you must be commercially astute and have a sound knowledge of the reactive maintenance and social housing markets.
On offer to the successful Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS is a highly competitive salary between £40k - £55k per annum (dependant on experience) as well as the option of a car or car allowance, benefits.
