Managing Quantity Surveyor is required for this main contractor, working a new build social housing projects, based in Borehamwood.|

They aim to be the preferred contractor of our clients by the provision of an integrated development process that achieves their requirements for high quality construction delivered within agreed timescales at an agreed cost and minimal future maintenance
A Managing Quantity Surveyor will provide professional expertise and knowledge and assist in implementing an agreed programme for building and construction related projects. Expert knowledge and skills are required in order to generate and promote a positive.
Each surveyor will be responsible for the financial management and estimating on each contract. The Surveyor will be expected to work closely alongside the Contract Manager to ensure effective completion of projects. The surveyor will also be expected to liaise with clients to obtain details of budgets and spending requirements they have.
In summary, the Surveyor will run the financial management of their respective contracts and perform any other duties which may be deemed necessary to reach targets set.
Provide a client focused professional service.

Plan, programme and implement property management services.
Procure and manage contracts and contractors delivering projects.
Provide high quality, flexible and responsive professional surveying services to clients.
Prepare proposals/bids for presentation to clients.
Ability to effectively communicate at senior management level.
Contribute to a team environment in which everyone is committed in producing a quality outcome.
Planning and ensuring effective communication so all information is available for the successful implementation and completion of projects and maintenance programmes.
Liaising with Team Leader and colleagues to ensure efficient financial control resulting in a cost effective service.
Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner. Meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients, forming strong working relationships in true partnership.
Ensure that senior management have qualified information on the progress of each contract or commission on a regular basis.
A strong track record as a Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor, with track record working in a Senior Capacity, showing the desire for a progressive career structure.
