Sellick Partnership are with a local authority in South Yorkshire who are seeking an Operations Manager to join their team.
The main purpose of the post is to oversee the successful transition of the repairs and maintenance contract back in house.
Responsibilities for this role include;
*Ensuring that the service is managed efficiently and effectively to meet the required standards and KPI's
*Holding responsibility for the effective allocation and deployment of resources including people, sub-contractors , assets, equipment and budgets
*Working collaboratively with other Operational Managers to ensure resources are deployed across the whole service to maximise productivity
*Managing and motivating staff
*Ensuring effective business, financial and budgetary management
*Supporting the development and review of relevant policies, strategies and procedures
*Providing technical advice on a range of issues including operational repairs and maintenance issues
