Our client are a leading, large M&E Building Services Installation Contractor specialising in the London market. They are involved in both new build and refurbishment projects. They manage M&E Building Services installation on Projects with a minimum M&E Value of £5M, so cover the largest projects in the London Market. They are vey diversified, and work across a wide range of building types. They are forward-thinking and non-confrontational in approach and offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package.|
They are looking to recruit an M&E Quality Manager. The role is concerned with ensuring the M&E Component of projects is of adequate quality prior to handover. This role might otherwise be referred to as an M&E Snagging Manager.
The position involves carrying out ongoing inspections of mechanical and Electrical Installation work and managing the rectifying process if any issues come about to ensure successful handover. We are looking for a good communicator who can liaise effectively with the commissioning team, installation contractors and the client to ensure building sections are completed to specification, and to the satisfaction of all parties. You should have either a Mechanical or Electrical Building Services qualification, but it is important that you have a very good practical understanding of both disciplines.
This is an important role in the business and carries significant authority.
The role may suit someone who has spent a long period as a Project Manager, contracts Manager or Site manager and understands M&E installation in a wide sense, but it is important that you have specific experience of carrying out an M&E QA, handover supervision or Snagging Role on large scale projects with a minimum value of 5 Million.
Our client is involved in some very major projects and you are likely to be initially involved with a large Media Studio Development or some exceptionally high value residential development projects in Central London
