Systems Administrator / Engineer - Top 3 UK Cloud Hosting Brand|
£35,000 - £50,000 DOE + Full Benefits Package
If you're reading this, you're a Technical Geek but you're also a fantastic communicator, inspiring others to be as good as you.
Like all the best people, you are constantly frustrated; your manager isn't adding value; marketing are failing to actually help sales and your colleagues think they are great but actually you know their execution is pretty average. And to make it worse, you're not being pushed or stretched any more.
You aren't in a hurry, you're good but you're coasting and looking for the right role in the right company (pun intended).
As one of the UK's top Cloud Hosting Providers- the one with the reputation for impeccable client service - we can afford to be choosy. We're looking for a Systems Administrator for our subsidiary in London. You must be driven: a natural enthusiast, a great communicator, inspirational, irresistibly persuasive, extremely bright and convinced that unleashing the benefits of hosting is the reason we was put on the planet.
Our mission is to be No 1 in the UK. That means attracting the best people. Better people, happier customers, more opportunities. Everyone here agrees that it is a cool environment and our HR statistics say the same: once we hire someone, we can't get rid of them.
We were founded in a bedroom in 2006 and are now part of the the UK's largest hosting company with annual revenues in excess of £70M. We are still growing rapidly and need more great techies to continue developing great solutions for interesting clients.
What are we looking for?

> You enjoy solving problems sometimes alone sometimes by collaboration.
> You probably prefer a command line to a GUI.
> Great knowledge of Linux and or Windows Systems Administration / Engineering.
> You enjoy automating stuff where possible and have great scripting skills.
> You are sociable and enjoy working in a team.
> You want to continue to improve your technical skills.
> You don't mind talking to clients
> You are happy to get involved in Support, pre-sales design and research projects into new technologies.
> Detailed understanding of VMWare and Storage technologies
> Fluency and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English.
The Systems Administrator Role:
> You will be a member of a small team of sys admins / engineers that take pride in their work and focus on delivering to tight deadlines.
> You will get involved in Support, pre-sales design and research projects into new technologies
> You will be responsible for the end-to-end installation of new systems for clients
> You will need a 'can do ' attitude
> You will find the work challenging but very rewarding and it will provide the opportunity to play with all the latest technology
What it takes:
If you're hard working and ambitious, genuinely enjoy building rapport and trust with existing and potential clients, and you're obsessed with cloud technology, you're halfway there.
You should only bother to get in touch if you possess real talent and skills and you can honestly tick all of the boxes below:-
