An award winning Infrastructure Solutions and Services client of mine is looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities of the 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer:

Resolving incidents escalated within the support team
Assisting other members of the technical team
Working with our Clients utilising Enterprise technologies
Working closely with our Infrastructure and Solutions team to improve our pro-active services
Escalating cases to our field based engineers when required
Identifying projects / sales opportunities from working with our Clients
Skills and Experience
Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Server 2008 / 2012
Knowledge of Active Directory (AD)
Networking Experience (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi)
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, 2010, 2013
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 / 2012 Administration
Watchguard Firewalls
HP Networking
Cisco Firewalls / Switches (Nexus & Catalyst)
VMWARE vSphere
Microsoft Hyper-V
NetApp Data OnTap, troubleshooting and support
Appreciation of ITIL standards

Desirable Skills Required of the 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer:

* MCSE (Server 2008+)
* ITIL Foundation

This role is paying up to £30,000. If interested, please apply immediately.
