German speaking Customer Service Specialist

Up to £20K + discretionary bonus + benefits + travel allowance

Permanent Full-time


Our client, an international and market leader Company within the Computer Hardware and Gaming Industry, is looking to appoint a German speaking Customer Service Specialist.

What you'll do

1 Receive incoming calls from all EMEA customers; respond to their requirements in an efficient and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Record activity in the CRM database.
2 Provide first level technical support. Calls that exceed first level technical support need to be escalated to the Technical Support department.
3 Receive incoming calls from all European customers, responding to their requirements in an efficient and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
4 Identify opportunities from inbound calls by questioning the customer.
5 Manage the Email database ensuring a 24-hour response time, Live Chats requests and respond to comments from the social media management system.
6 Work with the Account Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day running of existing accounts and to minimise the volume of queries in accordance with department procedures.
7 Participate to regular hands-on product training to increase product knowledge.

What you'll need

1 Interest in computer gaming and gaming peripherals (headsets, mice, keyboards, etc...)
2 A degree level or equivalent is desirable.
3 Must be fluent in German AND English. An additional language would be beneficial but not essential.
4 The candidate should be customer focused, have excellent communication and organisational skills.
5 The candidate should have the ability to co-ordinate and resolve a variety of customer concerns/queries.
6 Ability to prioritise their own workload, be able to co-operate with others in a close team environment, be numerate and be able to use independent judgment.
