Our client based in modern offices in the centre of Horsham, West Sussex are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join their busy team.|
They offer customers a range of IT solutions to help run their businesses, including:
Web applications (developed in house)
Internet based telephone systems
They are looking for someone to join the IT department, to provide support in all the above areas, both for customers and fellow staff members.
The IT department is a small team and they need someone bright and energetic who is willing to get involved in every aspect of the business.
The role will incorporate:
Providing first line support to clients and to internal users (via telephone, tickets and email)
Working closely with developers to help test new functionality
Monitoring web applications (testing, bug tracking)
Supporting VOIP telephone systems (implementing for new clients, supporting existing users)
The successful candidate will need:
An excellent telephone manner, being friendly, professional and customer focussed
An in depth knowledge of MS Office
Good written English
Confidence and enthusiasm in embracing new technologies and learning new skills
The ability to work to deadlines and effectively manage tasks
Other skills that would be useful are a familiarity with html and css, basic PC maintenance and software installation, and basic programming principles. These are not essential however, as this role provides the opportunity to learn and develop skills in a wide range of technologies.
Competitive package from £18k - £20k based on skills and experience.
