Head of Service Management with extensive C level engagement and proven experience of building and running service governance models/frameworks between IT delivery and the business is required for this national utilities company. Please note that this position will be based at across 2 sites Warwick and Hinckley (approx. 20 miles apart) therefore having access to your own transport would be desirable. The successful applicant will be required to take the reins and fulfil a commanding position that has already been in existence but where the previous incumbent has needed to leave unexpectedly.|
Applicants applying MUST consider themselves to be a Service Management professional with extensive experience of owning the service relationship into the senior teams within a business i.e. regular C level representation having an implicit understanding of the business requirement of IT services, i.e. how the IT service underpins business performance.
Applicants MUST consider themselves to be strong leaders, effective in influencing and communicating with senior business contacts. Able to translate complete IT technology or operational challenges into impactful, plain language briefings that the business can consume.
Applicants MUST have proven experience of building and running service governance models/frameworks between IT delivery and the business.
Ideally applicants should have previously worked within large corporates and have held responsibility for all services right across the following technology domains whilst working with a wide range of suppliers/vendors & 3rd parties: End User Computing, Mobility Services, Connectivity, Data Centre/Hosting, Applications Management and Support
