Our Client is a leading manufacturer that delivers bespoke concept and high quality products to a vast client base across the private sector and is now seeking a talented Mulit-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
As a result of increasing workload our client is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at our Leicester site. The activity undertaken by our Engineering Department is both diverse and challenging as it covers all aspects of electrical/Mechanical maintenance, manufacture and repair of CNC and Router machines and also some facilities maintenance on the manufacturing site through PPM and reactive activities.
You will be a person who is committed to completing jobs in a timely and professional manner
You will be required to complete an initial 6 months training on day shift once complete the shift will come in to action.
Responsibilities will cover:
Electrical/Mechanical maintenance of new and existing machinery (component Level)
Root cause analysis of failed machinery including facilities (small percentage)
Diagnose and repair faults specifically surrounding Siemens S7 controls, a range of inverters and PLC I/O diagnosis, 3-phase, single phase, transducer modules
Carry out reactive and proactive plant monitoring activities including call outs, ensuring efficient utilisation of plant equipment
Undertaking diagnostic activity on machinery, including analysis and compilation of life assessment reports, 5y, 5S.
Mechanical work is also required on pulleys, belt and conveyors.
Providing service and maintenance support.
Knowledge of 3-phase electrical control systems and switchgear.
Experience in TPM, PPM of electrical manufacturing equipment
At least 5 years preferred of electrical maintenance of medium or large plant equipment.
Degree (or equivalent) qualified, with relevant experience.
Be familiar with a variety of manufacturing techniques.
