As part of their growth plans there is a requirement for an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with experience in liquid process systems, installation, commissioning and service
Duties and Responsibilities Include
Undertake equipment preparation, installation and service duties incorporating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation work (where deemed competent).
Conduct testing of equipment pre-despatch for hire and sale.
Install and commission hire fleet equipment on client sites in accordance with agreed schedule and client requirements.
Assist with awareness training of client staff where appropriate.
Carry out installations on client sites.
Carry out final fit-out and testing of new equipment, including electrical and mechanical.
Carry out pro-active and reactive service visits on equipment on client sites as directed.
Act as point of contact with client personnel.
Visit client sites to establish maintenance requirements and equipment schedules.
It is essential that you have completed a recognised apprenticeship in electrical engineering
Aptitude and willingness to undertake mechanical work when required.
Ideally HNC qualified but full consideration will be given to applicants with a proven track record in a similar role.
Prior experience of working in an electrical maintenance role within the process industry is essential from environments such as steel, food & drink, water, effluent and waste water processing
