About the Job:
The client requires a Subject Matter Expert for Weapon Systems, Comms or Sensors to support the development of a new Engineering Technician structure in terms of the career training packages as a Training Delivery Instructor. You will help them by:
Teaching the principals, maintenance, theory and application.
Assisting in maintaining and updating training documentation.
Provide instruction in WE principles topics in accordance with the training plan.
Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times.
Carry out the duties of Safety Warden and First Aider if required, having completed the necessary training.
The nature of RN training requires a high degree of flexibility for all staff; there may be a requirement for travel between delivery sites within the UK.
To be the right fit for this job you will have excellent interpersonal skills and have an ability to support and engage with others. You will be able to express ideas clearly and demonstrate relevant knowledge of the technical subject matter. Identify and implement new ways of working using creativity. You will also have;
Consolidated experience of Weapon Systems, or directly employed in, the application of weapon engineering principles in a maritime environment
Experience as a maintainer of Weapon Systems, Comms or sensors
Previous instructional experience of Weapon engineering subjects (Not essential)
Previous instructional experience in a military environment
Qualified academically or vocationally to a minimum of HNC (or equivalent) in relevant subject matter
