The Role - Scientific Field Service Engineer (UV / ICP Spectroscopy)
Following expansion, they seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service and repair of a wide range of inductively coupled plasma spectroscopy and UV spectroscopy systems, utilised within universities, pharmaceutical and industrial laboratories. In this challenging and highly rewarding role, you will visit customer sites and provide customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting.
Your Background - Scientific Field Service Engineer (UV / ICP Spectroscopy)
To be considered for this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate a strong background working in a field service or technical support role, gained within a high value scientific / laboratory environment, with knowledge of spectroscopy, ICP (inductively coupled plasma), XRF (x-ray fluoresence), UV or any other molecular spectroscopy analytical instrumentation. You should be qualified to a minimum ONC or HNC level or above in electronics or another relevant technical discipline. You must have impeccable customer service skills, an interest in IT and have the ability to remain confident in customer facing environments.
